Tour Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Beijing (No meal)

On arrival in Beijing, China's capital, you will be greeted by our local English speaking tour guidre at the airport and transferred to your hotel. The rest of day is free for you to have some rest or wander around the hotel.


Day 2 Beijing royal life exploration to the Forbidden City, Rickshaw ride with family visit

In the morning, visit Ti’ananmen Square. Explore the imposing Forbidden City, where emperors ruled for 500 years. After lunch, explore the narrow and clean Hutongs by taking a rickshaw in Xicheng District.  Weave your way through Beijing's ancient, interwoven hutong alleys. Take a family visit in the Hutong to have a glance at the life of the local people. If you like, we could arrange a lunch with the local family where you can taste the most authentic Beijing cuisine or even learn to make dumplings by yourself!


Day 3 Beijing Great Wall Adventure with Temple of Heaven

This morning, you will be led to the vast Temple of Heaven, a venue for ancient emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties to pray for good harvest and worship heaven. It is a historical park filled with religious buildings where locals gather to dance, sing, play chess, or amble around. Then, transferred to Mutianyu Great Wall built to protect China's heartland from invaders about 2 hours driving and take the round-way cable car to admire the magnificent view of the snaking Wall.


Day 4 Beijing to Xi'an by high speed train

Transfer to the train station and take a high speed train to Xi'an. On arrival in Xi’an, you will be greeted by our local English speaking tour guide at the airport and transferred to your hotel.  Later, visit Big Goose Pagoda which is the biggest Buddhism pagoda in Xi’an memorizing the Monk Xuanzang in Tang Dynasty. Transfer to hotel after the tour.


Day 5 Xi’an Terra Cotta Warriors& Ancient City Wall

In the morning, visit the magnificent archaeological discovery, The Terracotta Warriors, representing the army that triumphed over other Chinese armies, being the decisive factor in forming a united China in ancient times. Then you will be transferred back to town. Gaze into the heart of Xi'an as you set out along the city's ancient city wall, impressed by biking on the Wall and seeing the classic red lanterns that tell you the history of the Wall. The wall has Stunning views at night, like a shining golden necklace that doctorates the whole city.

Experience Xi'an with more than just your eyes by sampling some of Xi'an's famous dumplings.


Day 6  Xi’an to Lhasa  

Morning tour to Shaanxi Provincial Museum demonstrates paintings, bronzes, handcrafts, cloisonné, ancient coins and so on which show you a brief view of the history of this ancient capital. Then drive to the airport and take a flight to Lhasa. You will greeting by our local tour guide in Lhasa and transferred to hotel. For the rest of day, we suggest you to have some rest and avoid too hard exercise.


Day 7 Lhasa City highlights to sacred Potala Palace and monasteries

In the morning, you will be escorted to visit the holy  Potala Palace which is home and the political center of Dalai Lamas. Then continue to Sera Monastery, one of the largest monasteries in Tibet. And then, visit  Norbulingka which is the summer palace of the Tibetan Dalai Lamas.


Day 8 Lhasa temples, local clinic visit

Today, you will have an escorted tour to the Jokhang Temple which is considered the spiritual center of Tibet. Then continue to Drepung Monastery. In the afternoon, visit a Tibetan Clinic to see the Tibetan medicines and the famous shopping street Barkhor Street


Day 9 Lhasa to Chengdu, see the lovely pandas

Take morning flight to Chengdu. Visit the Panda Breeding and Research Center to see the lovely pandas which are considered China's national treasure. Where you can see how pandas are breeding and the daily livings. Other endangered animals like red pandas, swans are well preserved here. After the tour, leaving for the airport and see you off.
Note: The Panda Breeding and Research Center has a donation programe which allow you to hold a panda by donating RMB2000 (for your reference). Maximum 40 persons are allowed per day. If you want to hold the panda, please tell us and we will make reservation for you at least one day in advance. The programe is subjected to the availability of the pandas on that day. Please bring RMB cash as they don’t accept credit card or other kinds of payment.


Day 10 Leshan Giant Buddha,world's largest inscription on the precipice

Today, drive to Leshan about 2 hours, visit Leshan Giant Buddha which is the World Heritage nominated by UNESCO in 1992.  Take a boat cruise on the river and have a full view of the big Buddha with 71 meters in height.  Drive back to Chengdu city after tour.


Day 11 Chengdu city highlights and then fly to Shanghai

Morning visit the culture relic Wuhou Temple in memory of the famous minister Zhugeliang in Three Kingdoms. Then, continue tour to Jinli Street where you can see all kinds of tea houses, shops and stalls selling souvenirs, foods, etc. After lunch, drive to the airport and fly to Shanghai.


Day 12 Shanghai, History VS Modern

In the morning, tour to the Shanghai Museum to know about the history and development of this charming city.  After lunch, visit the boutique and typical traditional Chinese garden, Yu Garden. Continue to Shanghai Old town where you can find the old alleys and local people and get to know their daily life. Afterward, visit the famous Bund which is the city symbol of Shanghai represented the modernization way back to the 19th century. The visit Nanjing Road, it is the most famous shopping area in Shanghai where you can find almost anything you want from the high-end luxuries to the cheap little things.


Day 13 Depart Shanghai 

Transfer to the airport for the flight home or your next destination and see you off.
